Well, we have decided to start at the beginning. The first thing that attracted me to paper crafts was making my own cards. My mum is a talented crafter (is that even a word) and so I was bought up in a home that was full of beautiful hand made items - and all my clothes were carefully and lovingly made by her as well. But we never really did much on the paper side of things so this was something that interested me.
I remember my early cards being very - well shall we say interesting?? Of course, when I started YouTube wasn't around so I didn't have access to so very many talented people. Anyway, with my beginnings in mind, we have decided to start with a Beginners guide to card making. This series will include information on this blog, step-by-step notes and of course each card will appear in a process video on YouTube.
I had a lot of fun making this card and was reminded that you can create really beautiful things without all of the fancy tools.
Although I have made this as a birthday card, you could use it for many different occasions by simply changing the greeting.
I just love the flower embellishment on this card and how easy and quick it is to make.
